After the Golden Age - Carrie Vaughn Very light and readable, though ultimately bittersweet. I'm not much of a comics reader, but it hit the tone and trappings of at least the 90's cartoons I did watch so perfectly I actually visualized it as a cartoon a few times while reading, (a good thing, in this instance.) Perhaps not quite as vicious a deconstruction of superheroes as I might have hoped for, but probably a better actual novel for it.
