Fair Representations: World's Fairs and the Modern World (European Contributions to American Studies ; 27)

Fair Representations: World's Fairs And The Modern World (European Contributions To American Studies ; 27) - Robert W. Rydell, Nancy E. Gwinn Decent collection. A little too wide ranging, imo. Some of the essays were a little too academic-wankerish, but others were interesting. Material, er, culture stands out as the weirdest thing about the Fairs (Well, and the racism) with the totalitarian nations trying to out-WTF eachother with national pavilions in 1937 being a highlight.
